Ojai Valley CERT will participate in the 2009 "Ojai Day" on Saturday, October 17th at Libbey Park.
We are asking CERT Graduates to assist in managing our booth -- providing information to the public about the CERT program and signing up interested parties for upcoming CERT classes.
As we are part of the Ojai Valley Emergency Response Team Triad, we are located next to the Ojai Valley Amateur Radio Club and American Red Cross. The intention is that volunteers can assist within all three displays.
Our space this year is #686, within Libbey Park, halfway down on the left-side.
Please respond to this invite with the times you are available and remember to bring your CERT PPE (Hard-Hat, Vest, flashlight, etc) to wear and display.
We will need to arrive at the booth for set-up at 8AM and the event is officially from 10AM to 5PM.
